Combating the signs of Ageing with Dental Filler Injections

The human skin begins to lose elasticity as a person ages. Resultantly, the wrinkles start to appear and so does the crow’s feet particularly around the nose and the mouth. Here at InStyle Aesthetics, we are a group of trained practitioners who are professionally trained to administer Dermal Fillers. Numbing cream or anesthetic is applied to the area before injecting the fillers to avoid any feeling of discomfort.

Why Do You Need Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers fill the lost volume of the face and change your tired looks due to wrinkling into youthful looks. Here at InStyle Aesthetics, our experts are highly trained medical professionals who understand the complex proportions, angles, ratios, and underlying anatomy of the face. They then use dermal fillers according to the needs of your facial skin to give you the youthful look you desire. Such a high level of expertise means our experts can sculpt, revolumise, and even reshape the proportions of facial skin to give you the best of your looks. Here at InStyle Aesthetics, we are also offering premium Juvederm dermal fillers which are one of the best in the market and are renowned for the longer-lasting and smooth effect. There are three prominent treatments using dermal fillers to give you the youthful look of your desire.

Non-surgical Nose Job: Our aesthetic medical professionals use dermal fillers for reshaping and sculpting your nose so that you do not have to go for surgical rhinoplasty. There is no downtime for this treatment and you can get it done even during a lunch break.

Dermarollers is a procedure in which skin is stimulated to repair and regenerate itself safely and naturally. It is a natural skin repair and regeneration therapy which is also used to remove stretch marks. Dermaroller significantly improves the appearance of stretch marks, facial and décolletage wrinkles and lines, sun-damaged skin, aged skin, scars including acne scars, and wrinkles on hands.

Microneedling is a great treatment for someone whose skin has become dark as the process does not involve lasers or peels. This treatment can be performed on the face as well as elsewhere on the body. The price, however, varies from the area and size of the skin where this treatment is required. The best results of the process are seen after a course of treatment. Skin can get wrinkled and damaged with the passage of time. It is a natural process but there are also other factors involved which can speed up this process and result in acne scars, cellulite, stretch marks, and deep scarring. If you are concerned about such problems and want healthier, smooth, and younger-looking skin then micro-needling/derma roller therapy is the right treatment for you.

Why Need Dermarollers?

It is best for anyone who has acne scars, larger pores, or someone who is looking to have a skin-tightening boost. Different needles are used in the treatment process. Thicker and deeper needles are used for treating scarring. Shorter and thinner needles are used for treating refine pores.

There are certain medical situations in which dermarolling is not advised. These include eczema, warts, and psoriasis. These diseases are prone to spread which is why dermarolling is not advised due to rolling over the face. Anyone experiencing acne scars shouldn’t roll over cystic skin from a zit because it will spread bacteria all over the face.

Make Sure You Follow These Steps

The skin must be completely clean of dirt and oil before starting the dermarolling. Cleanse with a foaming cleanser and use toner for balancing the PH. It is also useful to clean the skin with antiseptic before pricking.

Dermaroller should be placed on a clean surface e.g. on a towel. If the tool will be used again then clean it with Barbicide or CaviCide. It is also advised to soak the Dermaroller in an alcohol-based soak once a weak. A gold plated Dermaroller can last a long time whereas a plastic Dermaroller can last for about six months.

Retinol: One should not introduce it with dermarolling simultaneously because it will then give rise to an intense reaction. It is also advised that one should stop retinol at least five days before dermarolling.

Botox injections are highly popular cosmetic treatments all over the world and many renowned celebrities have also undergone this treatment to maintain their youthful look. Although the treatment is widely popular for an aesthetic and youthful look, it is also popular for other conditions such as preventing excessive sweating. The treatment is becoming increasingly popular among men as they are getting it injected in their scrotum.

Cosmetic Botox injections block the nerve signals to certain muscles causing relaxation in muscles. Resultantly, the wrinkles and lines on the skin begin to disappear. Each such injection costs GBP 150 to GBP 350 per session.

How Botox Works?

The face of the person is cleaned, and botulinum toxin is injected into the facial muscles through a very fine needle. It is injected at different places in facial skin depending on the area of treatment. A person may be asked to move the muscles in the face to find the most suitable area of the skin to inject it. The procedure usually lasts for about ten minutes.

Once Botox has injected the effect on muscles usually becomes visible within a few hours with the main effect appearing within a week’s time. A change is seen straight away but the full effect may start to appear in about two to three days and complete by about two to three weeks.

Botox freezes the movement of muscles by blocking neurotransmitters. The effect lasts for four to six months which means a top-up may be required if one wants to maintain their fine look.

Important Things to Remember

  • Do not massage your face for at least three days.
  • Avoid sunbathing, vigorous exercise, and sauna for at least two days.
  • Keep in touch with your consultant at least until the full effect completes.
  • The effect lasts for about three to four months. It is recommended to wait for at least three months before undergoing another Botox injection because undergoing this treatment frequently will make it stop working.

Word of Advice

Botox is not recommended under the following conditions:

  • Skin infection
  • The health is generally unwell
  • If a person has neuromuscular conditions such as myasthenia gravis
  • A person is already on some regular medication
  • Breastfeeding or pregnancy

Risks of Botox

The risks of Botox injections are minor and usually negligible. It is important that the treatment is administered by a highly qualified practitioner. You may experience the following conditions after the treatment:

  • Flu-like symptoms and/or a headache for first 24hrs after the treatment
  • Swelling, bruising, and redness in areas where the needle went in
  • A frozen look i.e. you may not be able to immediately move the muscles of the face in areas where the Botox is injected
  • Temporary weakness or droopiness in the face e.g. eyebrows or eyelids may droop if Botox moves to those areas

It is very rare for serious problems to occur such as blurred or double vision. This only happens, but rarely, when the area around the eyes is treated. If the neck area is treated, then breathing difficulties may occur in rare cases.

Get Rid of Your Smile Lines And Grow Younger

The deep wrinkles or lines that extend from the bottom of the nose to the corners of the mouth are called nasolabial folds and are pretty common, however, their severity may vary from people to people. While it’s a common enough occurrence, some people may want theirs to be less prominent.

Nasolabial folds deepen with age, sun damage and even smoking. The ultraviolet rays from the sun break down your skin’s elastin fibers and collagen that keeps it supported and smooth. Your nasolabial folds may become more prominent as a result of cumulative skin damage as you age. Even if you are not smoking or not suffering from sun damage, ageing itself can play a part in deepening those folds. Another reason for having prominent laugh lines can be significant weight gain or loss that can lead to plumper cheeks and accentuated folds or looser skin respectively.

Treating Nasolabial Folds

Our team of experts can find the right treatment for you by finding out the cause behind your deepening nasolabial folds. Usually, fillers are the first step towards reducing these folds. Here at Instyle Aesthetics, our aesthetic professionals determine the type of treatment that you’ll need, depending upon the severity of your nasolabial folds.

Injecting fillers into the skin not only adds volume to the area but also lifts the skin. The severity of the fold determines what type of filler and how much is needed. They can be easily injected and do not need any recovery time. However, some people may experience slight bruising for a little while as aftereffects but it can be covered up with makeup.

Fillers last for 6 months to 2 years while most of them last for a duration of 6 to 9 months.

Become the Best Version of You

Tired of the stubborn fatty deposits that refuse to leave your side? Do you want to look your best but the annoying fats keep coming in the way? Worry no more! We offer a non-surgical fat-dissolving injections treatment that will help you improve your problem areas like back, jowls, chin and much more.

Our fat-dissolving injections treatment helps you reduce and melt the small, localised fatty deposit areas; taking you one step closer to your body image goals. Including a series of small injections, fat-dissolving treatment is an efficient procedure. The best thing about this procedure is that it causes minimal discomfort for both women and men. Getting rid of the persistent fat can help you to feel good about yourself.

Wondering if the procedure is painful? The answer is to not worry at all because these injections to melt fat deposits are quite comfortable as the needles are smaller than the typical insulin injecting needles that diabetics need to use multiple times a day. To further minimize the discomfort, sometimes numbing cream is also applied to the areas under procedure if the need arises. Different measures are taken to provide as much comfort to you as possible because your comfort and needs come first.

Our non-invasive injection treatment is the procedure that can help you achieve your dream body, one that you’ve been wanting for a while now.

This procedure shouldn’t be used by people suffering from autoimmune diseases, pregnant women or breast-feeding mothers, or if nearby areas are infected.
